I have been a Prosthetics & Orthotics Care Company client for close to 5 years, having come to see Stan, Gerry, Charleen and Antonia on the recommendation of a friend who is also a BLBK amputee and a client of the POCC. My quality of life has improved immensely since making the switch, from my previous prosthetics provider - a public institute with Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 (closed for lunch hour) "service" run by bureaucrats, to the POCC. At The Prosthetics & Orthotics Care Company, the amputee is treated with the utmost respect and is allowed to participate in each and every decision affecting his or her prosthetic device(s) and overall care. Stan and Gerry will do whatever it takes at whatever time of day to ensure the customer is comfortable and safe. I have had adjustments made to my prostheses at home, at golf tournaments, at AASRA conventions, and, most importantly, at the exact moment when I needed them. The staff of the POCC ALWAYS has time to fit in one more patient and keep the doors open and lights on until the work is completed - to the satisfaction of the client. I have yet to experience this type of customer service anywhere else in my life. Stan's vision as a prosthetist is second to none, and his ability to push the envelope with technology and new techniques gives the amputee a very comforting feeling, as they know they are getting quality products and treatment. Most importantly, the entire staff of The Prosthetics & Orthotics Care Company are all great, caring people who will give their left leg (or a spare one) to make their clients feel safe and secure in their care.
