We are seeking transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputees to participate in a program to establish fitting protocol for these levels of amputation. I have joined with a group of practitioners and a leading manufacturer in this endeavor.
You will be asked to trial the techniques and designs that will be brought forward from the group. Our findings will be presented through the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
You must be a new amputee who has not previously been fit, or an existing amputee eligible for funding for the required components. Please contact our office to arrange for a screening. We look forward to working with you in this exciting undertaking.
